COL BKB Texas AM 70 Missouri 68

COLLEGE STATION, Texas, Feb. 7 (UPI) -- A 3-point shot by Fabyon Harris with 11.1 seconds remaining Thursday lifted Texas A&M to a 70-68 victory over No. 20 Missouri.

The Aggies owned a 10-point lead midway through the second half, but the Tigers fought back to go in front at 68-67 on Laurence Bowers' 3-pointer with 51 seconds to go.

Missouri's Phil Pressey then stole the ball from Harris, but promptly turned it over himself with a bad pass. That gave the ball back to the Aggies with 24 seconds left and they worked it to Harris for what turned out to be his third 3-pointer of the game.

Pressey then missed a 3-point try for Missouri, which lost for the second time in five games.

Harris finished with 17 points and Elston Turner added 15 for Texas A&M (14-8, 4-5 Southeastern Conference). The Aggies had lost five of their previous six.

Missouri (16-6, 5-4) was led by 15 points from Alex Oriakhi.

COL BKB Missouri 98 Mississippi 79

COLUMBIA, Mo., Feb. 9 (UPI) -- Alex Oriakhi had 22 points and 18 rebounds Saturday, powering No. 20 Missouri to a 98-79 win over No. 23 Mississippi.

Phil Pressey helped out with 22 points as the Tigers (17-6, 6-4 SEC) improved to 81-4 at Mizzou Arena since its opening in 2004.

Keion Bell scored 21 points for Missouri, which ran its 2012-13 home record to 14-0.

The Rebels (18-5, 7-3) got 16 points each from Jarvis Summers and Marshall Henderson. Ladarius White contributed 13 points for Ole Miss, which has lost three of its last four games.

COL BKB Wichita St 79 Missouri St 50

WICHITA, Kan., Feb. 9 (UPI) -- Cleanthony Early put in 16 points and grabbed eight rebounds Saturday, helping No. 22 Wichita State to cruise past Missouri State 79-50.

Nick Wiggins added 11 points for the Shockers (20-5, 9-4 MVC), who snapped a three-game losing streak.

Malcolm Armstead supplied 10 points with five assists while Tekele Cotton contributed 10 and four for the winners.

The Bears (7-18, 5-8) were paced by Marcus Marshall with 19 points.
